My NWA knife and a modded F1

This is my first try at uploading pics, so I hope it works.

I'm still fairly new here, and as luck would have it, I arrived too late for the forum knife offer from Nick, but saw my friend Kelly's 2 forum knives,

...and had to have one of my own.

You all probably know the story.

Boy doesn't know what to do with the small meager allowance that his wife gives him. Boy sees friends knife and just has to have one
...same old song and dance....
Anyway, Nick was kind enough to feed my habit, and allowed me to purchase one minus the forum stamp:)

It came last week, but I was still trying to figure out the picture process, so here it is.


Sharpest knife I've ever had. Love the grip. Fits my hand like a glove.
In fact, I like it so much that I sent Nick an email and ordered the Camp knife as well.:D

I'm going to have to give up coffee and save all that money to pay for it....:eek:

Maybe not..... ahh...I'll sell the...yeah :thumbup:


Now, you can imagine that the wait for Nick's knife was torture.
Actually, it was horrendously, nerve wracking, but I'm digressing into past experiences,
so I had better get on with the story.

Anyway, I had to do something to occupy my time.

I'm not sure if my F1 will ever forgive me, but this is what I did

New pants and a nice shiny new image. She's a little dirty as she's been out working today.

I think she doesn't like her new style very much, as she's already given me a little bite:o
In time though, she'll grow to like it.
The pic doesn't show it well, but there is a nice line just in from the edge showing the different steels in the lamination.
Really cool!!

Very very nice, on both. What kind of wood on the NWA? It looks really nice. I am a Micarta fan, but I've seen some of the wood handles Nick does and they make me want one :D

Hey tknife.
Nick said they were Bolivian Rosewood. I really like the handle.

Should also say that I found out about the Camp knife from your pics and sent an email off to Nick as soon as I finished looking at them.
Maybe he'll give you a commission for posting them and bringing him business...:D
 
That is a nice piece of wood, I like it.

Lol, his knives are great to use, it's hard not to post pics :) You'll like that camp knife, it cuts like crazy.
 
The more pic's I see of Nicks work, the more I am falling madly obsessed with his knives. No, I dont want one of his blades, I NEED one!!

Is there a website for NWA knives? or any contact info? I havent been here long enough to become personally familiar with Nick, but the pic's of his work and the owner praises tell me all I need to know!

Anybody help me out?
 
Hey Dave! I love your knives, I like the forum knife. It is nice to see guys that live in the same town as me.
 
Holy cow, I always liked the forum knives but seeing that handle, I NEED one now.
I hear there's still a big line up for them, though.

I've really got to get my hands on one of those NWA forum knives one of these days, they look about perfect. :thumbup:

Both great knives, but the NWA knife is a work of art. I can't wait to get the NWA forum knife #2 passaround and hopefully it will be available to order sometime in the near future. Nick, I see even a busier future!
 
Freaking Tknife..........I placed an order for a couple more NWA blades..1 chopper and the neck knife(once $ has been sorted out) both Green micarta... L/H sheaths . O now the wait......this will be 4 total & all matching handle material !!! Nick's work is top of the line !!Great Job Nick...

He doesn't have a site, but shoot him an email. He can usually respond pretty quick.
 
I am waiting on you to quite fondling it and ship it my way , LOL ! don't matter I could not help myself but place an order any ways ! that lil' booger looks sweet and the paces you put her thru.....awe man what more can you ask for !
