Joe,I was digging around and found my first buck knife I got in the 70's . It's a buck 500 w/micarta scales which I had carved on to look 'cool' at the time

. I had also had so much fun apparently sharpening the blade that is is half gone! Can I get a new blade for it? Any chance it would have the same style marking on the blade? It was a well used knife not so pretty any more but a lot of sentimental value. Something I would like to give to one of the grandkids. Thanks mike o

I am glad to hear you found your old knife. It must be a reject because we design them to get themselves lost. You are not supposed to find them!
I am afraid that todays blade is a lot diferent than the one in your knife. It is not only stamped diferently, but it is probably dimenioned deiferently too. You could always send it in though, just in case.
Make SURE you send a note along with it saying that it is sentimental!
