They're around. I've seen a few bought and sold. Seems like the SR-101 Safari Skinner was an Extravaganza offering by Busse.
 
Awesome man! I love the look "old school" rat knives, but I unfortunately don't have any yet. I've been on the lookout for good deals. The handles just look so comfortable and I love the pattern on the micarta! :thumbup: DROOL.

You know you can't sell any of them now. I'm pretty sure your collection now qualifies as a National Landmark (or something very similar).:)
 
Great collection! By the way, this is what the SR-101 Safari Skinner looks like. Picked mine up on ebay for about 200 bucks. Fells great in the hand, but I haven't got around to using her yet.

That's really cool. I never saw a satin one. I owned a couple that were sage (or maybe tan) coated.

Looks like the sub-hilt was a key part of the old school handle design. Real nice look to them... wonder why they got away from the sub-hilt? My newer design Choper does not have it.
 
Dog Skinner is one of the best! :) The slim tan/black/tan micarta custom shop DS is awesome!

Now if I just had a Rat Hunter!
