Hello,
A couple pics of my Schrades. My Grandfather gave me the 165 as a Christmas gift back in the mid 90's. I've used it as my primary hunting knife ever since. Last year I was looking for a Schrade knife to give my stepson for Christams, and I ran across the 152 Sharpfinger. Thought it would be a good companion for the 165 so I bid on it. Didn't think much more about them after I won it. This year while cleaning up after hunting season, I started wondering what the deal was with the orange handles. I've since learned (from the knowledgable masters of this forum!) that these models were special orders Schrade made for SMKW. I just picked up the 158OTO Guthook a couple weeks ago on eBay. Looks like the only other OTO in the line of hunters is the 15OTO Deerslayer? Is that correct? Guess I'll be hunting for one of those to round out the collection. Thanks for all the great information! Skeeter

Nice collection. They do show up on Ebay from time to time.I have the 152 but have resisted the urge on the others.Too many knives, not enough money.Arnold

Yes, there is an orange handled 15OT in the group. And the three orange handled Safe-T-Grip knives too. Here is the trapper that goes with the Delrin "orangies":

I thought the 15OTO was the last of the fixed blade, saw cut, delrin "orangies" in this line. As of right now I don't have much interest in the Safe-T-Grip knives. The molded rubber handles and nylon sheaths just don't do it for me. I like the looks and feel of a good old fixed blade hunters in nicely oiled leather. I might look at picking up that trapper though.......;) Again, thanks for all the great information. Its great to find experts in the field that are willing to share their years of knowledge and experience!! Skeeter
