My Para bit me! (In back pocket)

My Para alway rides IWB or front pocket clipped, never in the back pocket just for that reason.

I hate to laugh at anyone's misfortune, especially an injury, but that is pretty funny. I am surprised though, I just got my first Para and even after loosening the pivot some there is no way I could see mine doing that, but thanks for the warning.
Unrelated, I used to work in an OR as an anesthesia tech, I took home enough stuff to have the biggest first aid kit you could imagine, including stitches. I stitched up my friends on two separate occasions and did a pretty good job I think :D It was cheaper than an ER visit, thats all they cared about. I wished I still had some lying around these days for a survival kit.

Super glue and paper tape have saved my a$$ many a' time! (figuratively speaking that is) :D
An actual a$$ cut would be hard to self-administer first aid to admittedly ...

I did this with a Benchmade Nitrous Stryker before fully understanding it’s oversized thumbstuds. I have since rectified the situation. But these blades cut through denim and into the flesh like a hot knife through butter. :grumpy:

My blade was D2 Tanto and factory fresh. I’m sure as it was piercing it’s way into my ass it did not even know there was material being cut. It was a deep and clean stab.

In fact I felt a pinch and then felt something warm. Let me tell you. Blood is not the first thing that comes to mind and I’m 46. Not old enough to eehhmm loose control. :o I still have the shorts and now they are air conditioned.

8 stitches……….man that’s a lot.
Hey… get one of those doughnuts to sit on. :D:D
The good new is you keep a shapr knife on you. I like to know my fellow forumites are keeping it sharp!!!;)

I had a similar thing happen to me when I put my Para away without making sure it was properly closed. Luckily the only thing that it sliced was my pants. I'd hate for that point to have gone into my leg.

Superglue rocks for everything else.

I actually do use supper glue for most of my cuts, but do to its…awkward…location I was having a heck of a time. I wanted her to help me stop the bleeding but as soon as she saw the cut she insisted on stitches.

Besides there is always the chances that in the future she will be my ex-gf, and would you really want an ex armed with the story of how she super glued your a$$? :D

The only time I carry in the rear pocket is on Sunday evenings so I can arrange things right for evening services and then I'm picky about what goes there!!
