...the competition out of the water!!! :D -I thought that would get your attention:p. Everything about it is just amazing! Fit and finish is incredible!! I love the coloration too! The satin blade really contrasts against that FG handle perfectly! And it's hair-poppin' sharp!! I'm very pleased with Spyderco's commitment to bring us super high quality products at a price point that's reasonable.

Size comparison against the D4. I know most people buff the clip on the D2 Para, and originally I thought I would too, but I think I like the black :o...

My S30V Para gets more impressive every day... it is quickly showing itself to be the finest EDC I've owned to date.
 
Dang! What's up with all the D2 Para threads? Are they on clearance or what? :confused::)
 
Ya know I have been carrying a Benchmade 913D2 Stryker and I love the knife but just tonight I picked up my D2 Para for the first time in a couple of weeks and I immediately remembered why I love this knife and it is my favorite knife that I own. It is just the perfect EDC knife, light ergonomic handle and awesome G10 and awesome color too, and what is about my favorite locking mechanism and the blade has awesome belly on it and the CPM D2 takes a great razor edge. I just touched it up on my sharpmaker and it is once again shaving sharp. I am surely going to get the standard S30V version.
 
Really like mine. I thought the G10 was a bit rough at first but after just one week in my pocket it is mellowed and feels perfect. Love the D2 also and of course the flat grind and the weight and and and.......

On the topic of carrying the D2 Para - do you ever wear blue jeans when carrying your Para? Lately I've been hesitant to carry it because it seems as if the G10 rubs the blue off of my jeans onto those super cool Foliage Green scales! :barf: If so, what do you do to get the blue off??

Some soap, water, and stiff plastic brush. :thumbup:

That being said, I've never had a problem with it.

Haven't had that problem either, but i did manage to get some chocolate melted on my scales. Used the toothbrush method and it came out just fine.
 
I have some little specks of blood on the G10 of my D2 Para (I am really serious and not just trying to sound cool, but it is barely noticeable now).
 
My para quickly became my edc in like a week of owning it, I think I can say "best folder I own".
