My amber bone Case Peanut is lost! It and my GEC 25 take turns as my dress pants knife at work, and it must have slipped out of my pocket somewhere. I hope it turns up in the car or couch. It was an anniversary gift about five years back.

Look and look again.
Knives have a way of disappearing on me and if I don't check over a place three or four times I don't find it. I hope that you are able to recover him quick, that would be a sad loss.

This is serious. A lost peanut is a sad thing.

Look in the car seat. The once or twice I've had a knife slide out of dress pants pockets, Once I found in my car, the there was in the sofa. Sofa's are notorious kidnapers of small pocket knives and enough change over time to have a good steak dinner.

Worth a look, anyways. Good luck.

Carl.

It in the car, to the right of the driver's seat, way down low where the seat bolts to the floor. Right there next to the dessicated french fry.

That stinks. Lost my Buck 703 out of my pocket in a buddies jeep. Must have fallen out of the jeep too on the trails. Its been years, and I have searched and searched. Never to be found again. Good luck.

:D

I made a half-hearted search of the car, but a more thorough one is called for. It is either the car or sofa; those are the only places where I sit reclined enough for the little bugger to escape.

I'll try to be delicate about describing this.

It just so happens, earlier today I was 'seated' in a certain place where one occasionally needs a 'rest'. This usually involves a 'seat' made of porcelain. When I was sufficiently 'rested', I happened to notice my pants pocket had been 'inverted' sufficiently to empty it's contents onto the floor next to the 'seat'. The contents of that pocket? A 1970 Case stag Peanut (seriously, not kidding) which, thankfully, was gleaming up at me from the carpet. Lesson learned. I'll need to watch out for that in the future. :o

Might be worth a look, if you haven't already. ;)

Well, there are a couple of places you could have left it, car or sofa would also be the first one I´d think about it. In the office at work, the washer, the cloth-dryer. Once I thought, I lost my Mercator. A couple of months later, I found that one in my drawer with the pipes. Can´t remember how I left that one there.

Kind regards
Andi

I feel for you. I lost my Queen BEM D2 Canoe once. I was sure it was either at work or in my car. I searched and searched, and even started suspecting my co-workers. Then the car died, and we had to donate it. I procrastinated for weeks, searching the car, certain that if the car was gone, so was the knife, but eventually, I had to let it go.

One day, about a year later, I was looking under my bed for something, and noticed a little bump in the carpet. It was my dust covered Queen Canoe! For a year it had been two feet from me as I slept.

Never give up.

I hope it turns up, sounds like too good of a friend to have lost it's way.

Sorry for that. Losing things is never good, and it gets even worse when it's a beloved knife.
My advice is...stop searching for it.
Once you've searched in the most obvious places, and haven't found it, stop looking. If it's there somewhere (and it probably is) it will come out eventually, when you don't expect it.
Good luck!
