My Peanut is AWOL

Good luck finding your Peanut!

Zippos have a way of doing the same thing. More than once I've torn up the house (and aggravated my wife in the process) to find one, which was usually hiding under the front seat of the car.

I'm inconsolable when I lose something. I've definitely done the whole upend the couch thing. Thank god, I rarely ever lose anything or my neighbors would think I'm a complete nutball.

Best of luck on finding it. I bet it'll be in the last place you look.

I rarely lose things too, so it bugs me. On the other hand, maybe I can go Peanut shopping . . .

Ohhh, that's another whole ball of wax. It's okay if you want to hide a peanut, and then it's the "Oh my, I've lost my peanut. I guess I have to go peanut shopping!" ;):D

Okay, so what kind of peanut are you looking at to replace the missing in action one? Something in stag, or perhaps some nice chestnut bone?

Carl.

In 2011, I lost a nice stag peanut, AND a damascus sway back jack. My wife thinks I'm insane for still looking for them all the time. I'm convinced my house has knife gremlins!

Stop don't do anything, It will show up just as soon as you buy another one. No Worries

Still a no-show. I tossed the house and car, and looked around at work. Maybe it will turn up if I forget about it.

Lost my Wenger SI a few months back, eventually, weeks later, found it right next to my computer under some papers. :-) Hope yours turns up.

I feel your pain. I'm such a chronic loser that when I got my Conductor I made sure to get the bail, then attached a P7 clip. Shug Knight could hang me upside down over a Vegas hotel patio railing and give me a good shake and I still would have my Conductor when it was over.

I was eyeballing peanuts on the usual sites, and then I got an idea; what if, instead of ordering a new one, I were to wait until summer and then take my annual motorcycle camping trip to Bradford, PA? I planned to do this a few years back, and it didn't pan out.

Nice idea. Also, it seems that Case is bringing out a bunch of new peanuts this year. And you will find your lost one just when you get home from Bradford :D

That is so true. Currently two of my victorinox keyring knives and my zippo is unaccounted for. I did found one of my pen knife that was missing in action though when looking for my zippo... :D
