rockspyder, No Sir, No reprimand intended.... From what I can understand of you from reading your bit, I think you understand well the responsibilities. The computer is a cold way to communicate for me. Perhaps I speak dog better than I should, and human not so well
I believe that you know the challenges to keeping a large dog home, or where you want it, by the way you wrote.
I had one hell of a time sometimes. My first dane was like Houdini, and I was always surprised at his ingenuity. He could shed a harness with out straining the run, scale 6'walls, and even climb trees. I swear he was part beaver, and would dive 4' to get me a cold beer.
He had a tongue that could sweep a kitchen counter clean in the blink of an eye, and a tail that was more whip than tail.....
