My PM2 pocket clip had a run in with a table

Finally had a chance to work on this tonight, I tried saksrcools idea but ran into a issue with the scale and liner. The sheared screw seems to be screwed in the liner, so I couldn't get the scale off the liner. The leftover screw is flush on both sides. If I could get the scale off the liner, it seems that it would be a easy fix. This was my first time dissembling a pm2 so I may be wrong.

The shearing action may have bent the screw into the scales as it sheared off the head. I'll not be the one to tell you to pry harder and risk breaking something but good luck, I was wondering how it went.

That makes sense. I'm going to take it to work Monday and see if I can work it a little harder. Worse case scenario I'll leave the sheared screws in the frame and use the clip tip down. I think I can steal some screws from a junk folder that I just keep in my truck. I am also considering sending to spyderco. I am not sure what it will cost me though. Probably going to call them Monday.

I've heard good thing about their customer service, I've read a lot of people saying stuff from broken pocket clips to blade regrinds because of broken tips being done for $5 return shipping. I said I wouldn't say to pry harder for fear of breaking something more as that's what usually happens to me. Get hold of Spyderco, see what they say. Good luck man, I know it sucks not being able to carry the knife you're used to carrying.

Thanks my friend! It actually hasn't been too terrible. My neglected knives as of late have gotten so much needed pocket time.

I've caught my PM2 pocket clip on my truck door a couple times  Something about the shape makes it more susceptible to catching than all my other knives!
