That's true. He says a portion of the lock face was sheared off. Was it on the lock bar or the mating surface on the blade?
 
Brothers can do some retarded stuff, i have to yell at mine a few times a month at least. Id give him the old 0200 and tell him you want a new one, that wouldnt work with my bro but if it did with yours then great. Or ask ZT how much to fix it since it if it isn't covered, they might go for that.
 
That's what I was afraid of. A simple blade swap may not work then. I think I would contact customer service to see if they would repair it for a fee, or have your brother have you buy a new one.
 
To shear off part of the lock face and the blade would take more than a simple spine whack IMO. He had to have been beating hard on the knife, in a manner it wasn't meant to be beat on.

Time for brother to cough up a new 0200. He now owns a broken folder.
