This pooch was tossed in the bed of a buddy's truck while he was at work. I am volunteering to take it so it doesn't go to the shelter
Now...any takers on what breed I am looking at? Sorry, only pic I have for now...

Well it's cute ... Looks to be kinda brindle color, maybe like the brindle color found on BullDogs (boxers,pits,mastiff...etc) could be a pit mix maybe ???
Not real sure w/ the pic.

I would say pit mixed with at least one other critter. Cute pup. Awesome of you to take him in. Wish more folks would do that. I hope he gives you many years of companionship.

Yea...it doesn't quite have the bulmastiff head. I was thinking/hoping it's half boxer...I will try to post more pics...

Definitely a keeper, from one dog lover to another, thanks for saving him/her!

Dogs are some of the best people I know! You'll have a friend for life!

Very, very good of you! Nothing makes a better friend than a rescued mutt. I'm sure you'll have a buddy for life now.

Hard to tell from the pic what breed he might be but he is a really cute pup.

He looks a lot like my pup. Mine is a pit/coon hound mix. Dont let the reputation of the pit fool you, they are awesome companions. Good on you, bro.:thumbup:

Awsome for saving him dude !!!
There should be more people like you !!!
It's very cute :)
I've picked up a couple of dogs from the streets and found them good homes - they sure are loyal companions ;)

My sister found a mutt that looked just like yours stranded on the side of the road a couple of years ago. She took her in and that dog has become the best companion anyone could ask for. My sis took the dog, Lola, to the vet and the vet suggested that Lola was a Staffordshire Terrier/Pit mix...perhaps you've ran into the same situation! Good for you!

be nice to be able to spend a few moments alone with whoever tossed the pup in the truck.

I couldn't guess the breed/breeds from the picture, but-

Good on ya for saving another "unwanted" animal!

Now get ready to have him/her repay your kindness about a hundredfold. :D

Make sure you take the camera out on your hikes. I know I'm not the only one that would love to see more pics of that cute little pup. Good on ya for taking it in. I just don't get how people can be so cruel to animals.
