wanted to try her hand at a knife review...

We started her off slow with the Izula. How do you think she did?

Nice Video.

Get her to stop saying Uhmmmm like 50 times and it would be awesome. :D

Really though it was great. :)

good video. she covered all aspects of the knife well  and she didnt get stage fright :D

I enjoyed it a lot more than a lot of the video knife reviewes out there

Good job. She sounds pretty savy.

On the Um's, it's a common speakers problem. Have her go back and count how many she uses so she's aware. I think it's like 20 not counting the uh's. Now explain to her, or anybody for that matter, not to be afraid of silence. She doesn't need to fill every moment with sound. This was taught to me by a professional speaking coach.

hey, there is a knife in that video....I saw it after the 2nd time I watched it;)

pretty lady, cute review.....nice to see you share the blade interest:thumbup:

Might want a more modest shirt... Some weird people on the internet. NO DISRESPECT

In any event, she sounds like she's giving a very informed opinion which is really all you can ask for in a reviewer. If she liked doing it, I wouldn't stop her!

Where's the knife?

At work, can't watch it with sound. Ah, I see the knife now. ;)

Great review. I showed it to my (also very pretty) Wife and said that "see women think knives are cool too!"

She's not as into knives as your wife is but she's getting there. She did very much enjoy seeing a woman doing a review.

That's pretty cool good review. I sure would'nt let her go there's not to many understanding knife women out there.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone! My wife is super excited that everyone seems to enjoy her review!

If you keep watching, she will keep reviewing!

one trick is for her to sketch out her narrative before starting and tape it to the camera tripod. that way she's not as likely to throw out all the verbal tics/pauses, which will help her feel more confident in her presentation.
another thing to try is to do a couple of practice runs so she can see & hear herself - which may give her some ideas for how to improve the presentation and let it "flow" better.

she did well for a first try - no apparent stage fright, no out there statements, etc...
good job!

Thanks for the review:thumbup:
Glad to see she is using the sheath:D:cool:

It's actually an awesome review. She presented a clear thesis statement at the beginning and summarized her points very well. It is one of the better reviews I have seen. She also handled the knife extremely well ;)
