My PSK (lots of pics)

True, but it could still all be self-contained if you wrapped the film canister with all the cordage on the outside of the Ecplise tin and it wouldn't add too much extra bulk.

Thought you all might want to see how my PSK has changed -

How it looks now -
Added a Suunto Clipper GID compass

This ball chain I used is a cheap imitation and doesnt break easily when pulled - Its also the perfect length to reach the GID compass to charge it up.

2 alchohol prep pads, large non stick dressing, 6 band-aids-

Added an O-ring seal to waterproof it -

Also filled the gaps at the bottom with some clear epoxy, also to waterproof -

How I store the PJ balls now, there are three and each is individually wrapped in cling wrap and placed in the zip-lock baggie because it kept leaking PJ -

And a shot of how bright the compass is when carged for 10secs with the photon -

Other changes include - Adding more duct tape, some masking tape (more sticky) and electrical tape (good for sealing). I also replaced the nylon cord with some Type 1 paracord because it is stronger and has an inner strand, meaning I have twice the amount of cordage.

Overall i think it is now a more all rounded kit now with navigation and lighting. I did want to follow some suggestions and add a large ziplock bag. But it became very unwieldy - even uncomfortable for cargo pants - so I opted for carrying a large ziplock bag + a large rubbish bag in my backpocket.

I hope for any comments about anything additional to bring.
