My RC6 Recurve

Wow! That one had serrations? Great job! I'm not much of a fan of stripped RATs but this is done right!

I had a chance to take a look at this knife over the weekend and it pictures do not do it justice. It looks awesome!

I was surprised you put it up for trade though. Looking for another project?

I love how recurves cut, Just hate sharpening them from a very dull point. I usually keep my recurves touched up more frequently because of this. Jeff, I may have to send you over a knife or 2 to eliminate partial serrations in the future. :)

Kirk,

First, I hope your thumb is OK, that looked RUDE and full of pain! This is my first recurve blade and I can fully appreciate your point about maintaining vs. complete resharpening. Starting from scratch was brutal! It came out fine, but took a lot of time to get it there.

I have actually moved it to the trade section...I am going to try some other stuff. (still have my three go to RC's!)

How is the Puukko doing? Did your friend take it or did you manage to keep it? Stay well Bud!!!

Mike/gimp, Thanks for hanging out & the nice comments!

That looks GREAT! What blueing product did you use? It looks more even than some, thought it could just be the small surface area.
