My rediscovery of grivory.....

I had the same issue when removing nuts from micarta on my 10 this past weekend. You also have the same problem when placing the nuts in the holes. What I did was use the allen key & poke through the hole from the flat side of the micarta, it will hit the nut on the other side then just tap down on the key on a flat surface. That should get the nuts out.

Ole two bolt is back. cant believe i wronged her so....

so whats everyones technique for getting the nuts into micarta since we strayed down that path

ha so simple i didnt even think of that. here i am using a punch to knock it down. dam some of the crap that goes right over my head

Seems like the Grivory from the BK10 have more of a ruffer finish that feels awesome.

But how would I really know that.....;)

Didnt even notice that. its a cutting board since my table is just crap. had it since my late teens early 20's apartment. LOTS of beer pong and other crap the table has seen, so its scratched up and the cutting board makes for nicer pics.

nuts and bolts are cheap enough, that about $5, will pretty much keep you stocked, and one won't have to worry about this "losing stuff" or moving them around

a ranger band will mostly guarantee that you won't lose hardware, if you're the type to not use loctite (for instance, storing stuff in handles); at which point you should have a hex on you to tighten as needed, or you've long since replaced with slotted bolt/screws that you can use a myriad of other tools/hacks to open.

or something :>
