My resignation as well.

well. wow. i've been away a couple days other than a really quick read and write, no time to do anything in depth (semi new job).

so, wow. i guess your message is "so long and thanks for all the fish" (SF reference) :) thanx for the good work.

and remember, it's not the size of the fish, it's the size of the pole :)

Glad that your health is improving, but sorry to see you leave as a moderator.
Any bass in your future?

I didn't say anything when Howard left 'cos I'm new,now Yvsa goes as well...

I've seen this on my forum..one goes so do others-strange.

Anyway Yvsa good luck, don't get drug into the gulf! :D

Yvsa, I am so very glad that your health is on the up and up, and that its improving everything about you, not that I could see room for improvement before, but you know. So be well, life life to the fullest, and we'll still be here when you need us, and to listen to the stories you bring back.

Its nice that you'll be able to get outside more Yvsa. I'm happy for you. You're due for some catfish after some of the crap(pie) you've been through lately.

Bob

Yvsa, you had better stick around the forum here or I'm gonna fly out there and kick some butt! ;)

And I'd love to talk Sci-Fi with you. The things you learn about people. I had no that subject was of any interest to you at all.

I'm not saying goodbye because I expect to see you here just as much as before, sharing your knowledge with us.

Thanks for taking on this thankless task after Uncle Bill and Rusty both left us so soon together. I also hope you'll keep us all posted on your new activities.

BTW, do you get to whack the fish with a khukuri? :D

Regards,

Norm

Khukuris might be good for finishing them off...never tried it. It would do a good job of removing the fish head.

I would not want to filet a bass with a khukuri.

Yvsa, your gain is our loss, but I couldn't be happier for you. Both that your health is improving, and that you are able to rekindle old fires left too long untended. Time is the only real currency any of us have, and it's up to us how to spend it. Some folks might be alarmed at you and Howard stepping down at the same time, and imagine some sort of calamity, but what I see is a couple of guys who have earned a well deserved break. There's good folk on this forum, so you can rest assured our remaining mods, and any future mods, will be able to count on full cooperation and support from the Cantinistas.

Best wishes to you, Yvsa and Thank You for your wisdom.
(I miss here a smiley: "applauding while standing").

I couldn't have said it better, littleknife.

Yvsa, edutsi, smoke going up for you every day.

Oh, Yvsa, could you give me an "Indian Name"? My surviving brothers have them and I'm jealous :foot: No, edutsi, not "Two Dogs ****ing"

Osiyo Edutsi...sad and glad...but I know the path you follow is the right one.

Yes...I'll be coming fishing.

Yvsa, it's great that you're feeling better. Take care of yourself. Start a thread if you want SF reading recommendations.

While I am sad that you are stepping down, I have to commend you for all your years of service both official and unofficial watching over HI. Like Howard, you are very much appreciated here in whatever role you choose to take. I thrilled at the fact that you are actually able to enjoy your life now that your health is getting better. No one in their right mind would wish for you to stay around here and have you hunched over in pain at the screen when you could be out and about making your mark on the world and giving others what you have given us for years.
Thank you so very much, sir.

I hate to qoute someone at a time like this, but Jake said what I was thinking (again! ;there's not room enough in this skull for you AND the other voices Jake, now get out!).

I'm very glad to hear that you will be getting out and enjoying the outdoors and getting deeper in touch with your beliefs--can't beat that combo.
Thanks Edutsi and stay in touch!

I wish you well my friend. Good hunting and good fishing.
Remember, should you need a chile fix, either green or red (or Christmas), Albuquerque, NM is the place to come. Email me when the time is right and we may share a meal. Remember always the hot stuff in chile is suppose to be good for our prostate  .

golden shower for Yvsa forthcoming...

Yvsa,

Your post is a very positive one that puts a big smile on my face :)

So often in this world does one see and hear about folks that have to leave what they love because their health issues no longer allow them to particapate in them.

But,........... your position is the complete opposite of this..........

Your not leaving the forum Moderator position because of bad health, but instead because your gaining health will now allow you to expand and particapate in other loves.................... that is awesome!

Congratualtions, Sir!
May your health only continue to gain! :)

Yvsa! Glad to hear that your health is on the rise. Fresh air and fishing will only make you stronger.

But please keep teaching us how to be, when the opportunity is there.

Hi Yvsa:

I am so glad for you that your health has improved. I wish you a great time with the outdoors and other persuits.

I have always enjoyed your posts and comments.

Hope you are still a regular here. You have contributed a lot.

Yvsa,
I hope your new-found liberation from the computer won't mean an end to those great emails that end: "Best as always" - the same to you, my good and wise friend.
