I have offered my resignation as a HI moderator to Yangdu, and she has accepted it.

This decision of mine was based on consideration of how the moderator team could most effectively address the continued maintenance of the wonderful atmosphere we enjoy here.

The moderator job is sometimes a challenging one, and I hope you will all join me in supporting Yangdu, Yvsa, and Munk as they continue this magical work. Their job is not always an easy one, as I know.

It has been an honor to serve my friends here this last year. I look forward to continued interactions with you as a regular member.

It'll probably take a little while for the e-paperwork to catch up.

That's a shame but understandable. I am an administrator on two forums, and moderator on another very large forum I know it is a lot of work and a lot of hours. Hats off to anyone that does this job. You can resign a post but you can’t resign the connections you have made.

Howard, I have nothing but admiration and respect for the job you have done as moderator here. Thank you very much for stepping up with Yvsa and Munk when we needed you so much. I hope it has been a positive experience for you, as it has been for us.

I salute you.

Howard, I just realized that my Scout Troop has Wallace Plaid nekerchiefs. How could I have misssed? We wanted plaid, predominantly red, and that's what the store had for the mom's to whip up into 'kerchiefs. A Wallace!!

Thank you for your service to the community?

Sir Howard Wallace, I want to thank you for the great and often thankless job as a moderator.
I usually don't say much; however, I do read , listen and try, try, try to absorb as much as this old mind will allow.

Thank you for the service.

Howard, thank you for your service to the Forum as a moderator.

I hope you will be still around. I've learned a lot from you here.
Thank you and best wishes.

Thank you for all that you have put into an often thankless task. Namaskar, Howard.

Howard is a senior forumite, the backbone of the place, and is a close friend of the Martino family. He is a friend to this forum, and always will be. He did step up when we were in trouble, has the best interests of Yangdu at heart, and I've no doubt will always be here when trouble threatens.

Thank you Howard. You are a top notch moderator. See you soon.

Howard leaving this forum concerns me very much. I would like everyone to go back and review his relationship with UB and Rusty and question what his motives for leaving this forum are? If it is truely "I'm Tired" I understand that ,he is going to be "available" and that is appreciated, but why WHY WITHDRAW.?
His understanding of the development and initial control of this forum is the basis of what it represents.
IMHO we need to understand what is happening to this FORUM.

Dick

After conversations with both Howard and Yangdu, the reasons for his departure are simply it's time to step back and allow others to oversee the daily operations. His guidence will be missed, but his presence is appreciated.
Thank you sir for all your help.

Hope you will indeed still be around and continue your high quality posts.

Howard...the "gold" in your title has always been visible to me...even when masked in "red".
