I have the Cliff Knife from ROSarms and it is bigger than I thought, but very light and fast in the hand. Visually it is one of the most stunning knives I have and it's very unique looking. It gets a big

Here's the specs again:
Total length: 9.6 in (245 mm) Blade length: 4.9 in (125 mm)
Blade width: 1.9 in ( 50 mm) Blade thickness: 0.2 in (5 mm)
Handle: Leather/Aluminum Butt cap and hilt: Aluminum
Weight: 8.6 oz.

That's a great looking knife. I've considered buying one several times and will probably eventually give into the temptation.

Nice blade - great pics - how does the arch of the handle impact the feel of the knife ?

This was sent to Kancler a while back but the knife the soldier is writing about has not changed in design or material:

"At 2000 Motherland sent me to official trip in one of southern
republic. When I prepare for this trip I decide to buy knife and choose
this one because it looks powerful, reliable and has kind of predatory
grace. It also fit my palm very well. It was not too big, not too heavy,
not too ordinary looking. My colleagues that time toke big, massive
knives - almost sabers or swords and then during deployment did not
carry them at all - too heavy. Real life use for it was only branch
chopping, whittling, cutting bread, beef, ham... Most important bonus
feature - because of wide blade you can scoop up a lot of canned beef
from can (almost more then with spoon), very useful thing in a big
family ;)

Only one combat situation - I used knife to resist kidnapping attempt on
the marketplace. I look intelligent with glasses on my face, so two guys
decide I'll be easy target. And I was extremely lucky because at that
point already take knife away to test smoked beef, so I reflectively
strike hands to release my gun and Cliff did not fail me. Second guy was
so terrified that just freeze with his eyeballs popping out while the
first one yell something to him. Then, after gun was released, I start
shooting and gundown both, then my friends come to help. All take 10-15
seconds only."

Even though the translation is very rough, I think that just about says it all...

nice pic ted  , love the avatar:D :D

Great to see your awesome photos over here Ted!
The Cliff is a difficult knife to photograph with that unusual blade. The hollow grind is almost a dish. It is also huge when your holding it but a smaller knife when you wear it on a belt which is really nice. The one i had was a bit different with no aluminium and an almost blue/black stacked leather handle. The sheath was one of Rosarms best as well.

The Cliff is now on the top of the Roomusthave list.
The aluminum and leather looks good to me. Reminds me of my Randall model 1.

The only thing I do not like about the aluminum is the lack of a lanyard hole.
This might be the deciding factor on which handle material/guard I will get on mine.
The knife is truely beautiful, though.
