OK, so it's only mediocre quality work, but it is serviceable. It's good enough for me to give the knife a workout and at least hopefully have a good cutting tool that will last awhile.
The scales are black and turquoise micarta held on with JB Weld and brass pins. The sheath is also by me and is dipped in beeswax/paraffin so it's pretty stiff- almost like kydex.
I'm looking forward to using it and giving a full report.
