My SAK collection

Nice collection!

Very nice! If you are looking to sell/trade some, send me a visitor message!
I am probably going to sell them eventually, but even so its my understanding that only gold members are permitted to sell anything on this site. Or maybe im mistaken?

I'm sure there are a lot of people on Bladeforums (including myself) who would be willing to take the whole collection off your hands. ;)

those are gorgeous vintage SAKs! i think they're all retired models since most of them got older tools, like no saw hole in the reamer, lack of keyrings, screw on the scissor, lack of hook on the back tools and so on...

got some, but not as many as your collections... thanks alot for sharing those gorgeous pictures...

as long as you could them as your own collection... since if i were you, i would regret to part with some of it hehehe...

once again, gorgeous collection! congrats!

ps: it seem that the sportsman is actually a tourist on the picture! just the box show the sportsman writing.

Thanks Iyonk and I concur about them all being retired models, all purchased in 1983 on the same day, except the marlboro, the shuttle and the swiss lite.

I also noticed that one or two of them (the sportsman and cant remember the other) seemed to have been boxed wrong. I'm guessing this is a 30yr old mistake from victorinox...think theyll still make it right? :)

Wow! Did you buy each one for it's features and thought that you'd use it? Or are you collecting simply for the satisfaction of collecting?

I member I wanted a Marlboro Troubleshooter at one time. It has a great tool selection.

The red Safari Trooper was my first SAK. That was 30-some years ago. I still have one (although not the same one.) I don't carry it much, but it's definitely a favorite. Easier to carry that the Rucksack sized models, and still a very capable woods knife.

Thanks for all the pics!

Quite welcome Scott! I've loved SAKs since my very first visits to the local hardware store (like many of us) But I've only collected a few over the years, I bought most of these in one shot from a friend, still in the original box shipped from victorinox with packing list and all.

Great colletction you got there.

If you look into selling some of those deluxe standarts, or the safari trooper, drop me a line. :D

You got it sir:cool:

Nice collection!
