Looken good, did you deepen the logo with the 9 volt ?

Yep! I tried it for a little bit on both sides, then I finished it off with 2 hours of PCB etching fluid, to even the etch out a bit.

Tanks bro!
Never had the problem with evening the etch out. I do move the Q-tip to the letters that aren't as deep and just watch and keep it even. It's so fast if the salt solution is strong enough and the battery is good . Oh well it turned out that's the main thing

Yeah, I found an old 9v at the back of the junk drawer, so no telling how old it was. I was getting a little smoke and bubbling of the salt solution, so it was working. I just rubbed the q-tip back and forth across the whole logo for a few minutes. When I rinsed and scrubbed with toothbrush, some of the letter were like half gold and half black. No big deal, it was deep enough, so I finished with the PCB fluid. All letters are uniform in depth, color and etch now! The 9v method shaved off a day or two of liquid etching.

I'am glad it worked out regardless.

Me too! I'm going to blast it, throw stainless blasted hardwear and micarta handles on it. Probably just going to be a flipping knife for me as I don't see this Bundok ever taking the place of my Reinhardt!

So it's going to look just like the other one you had :D Cool, I like the look of the blasted blade a lot and you seem to be having real good luck as far as rust issues  maybe it's the 1095cv :). Back when I had access to a bead blaster, I blasted a lot of things never a knife though mostly car and motorcycle parts. The clean blasted steel though always seem to rust up right away if not painted right away even my fingerprints would show up with in a day or two :p

If you leave the raw sandblasted finish on, it would rust like crazy. That happened the first time I blasted a carbon steel blade. That's why I take a fine sanding block or fine steel wool to it right away, to kind of "smooth" out the finish a bit.
