My Second Breeden Knife

You are very welcome for the loner to see what you thought of it. Right now that same loner knife is with a fellow from the United States Rescue and Special Operations Group forum. to see what he thinks of it. Yea I think this knife is way cooler than the pathfinder too LOL. Mine is sitten next to me too.
It will make you up a trap or 2 just fine LOL. let us know how it goes with your trap making. I have not made a trap yet with this one but I did the Recon one trapper widget and then a piute dead fall trap that I showed my brother in law. I have been using mine to cut food up and cut small trees and kill ticks so fare, shave a few fuzz stick for a hot dog roast, but no traps yet. but i think it will do just fine. :D for that too.
I have not skinned anything yet either. But in time LOL;)

Very nice knife. Bryan, I have to disagree with you though. You make some great knives. You make some cool knives. None are better or cooler than the Pathfinder though.
That knife approaches perfection. IMHO, of course.
 
Ken, LOL yea I see what you mean. When the Special Operation Guys came up with there design many years back, they really came up with a cool blade shape for sure.

Thanks proturist , Ok LOL ok Glad to know that you like the Pathfinder so much. After this Recon and Combat Recon blade shape for me the Pathfinder knife is my second favorite knife LOL.

Good, with some of the places I get off to, I have to know I can trust it.


I'm not getting into the opinions of which is better...impossible for me to be impartial with this one ;)
 
A few other small changes I almost forgot to mention about this design. Bryan relocated to lanyard/thong hole for me to make it more comfortable in use and changing grips, and then he added a solid pin at the pommel end, and then put in two small pins at the guard end to make the handle more durable for rough the use which I am prone to put my knives through. I also asked him to round over the top guard/swell/thumbramp for me to make it more comfortable in a reverse grip.

Well Mistwalker to answer your ? about the smaller one maybe by the end of this week or begining of next week witch ever comes first LOL.
LOL so long as I can get some sleep and not have a night like last night LOL. State patrol chopper flying over head, several state patrol cruisers and a bunch of sheriff deputies One already injured in the line of duty( we were told) and 2 bad guys on the loose just south of the farm after they stole a car and then was in a high speed chase and wrecked the van they stole and then fled the seen and are in the surounding woods pasters or fields just south of our farm possibly al ready on out farm:eek:. I am thinking that I might get one done LOL. but I did get to break in the lastest tactical knife I made ( mistwlakers design )by just a few hours LOL. That was cool and it even has a green handle and not a orange one. Can not post pics just yet, but boy is it cool.

Yep putting that landard hole in the are really makes the knife more user freindly when using a landyard like you do.

Thanks Noshtero, yea it really is a cool looking design I think to0, BUT this is all Mistwalker's thoughts and design shape. I am just thankful for him giving me the oppertunity and allowing me to build it for him. I love the design and the way the knife just flows as a extention of me. Mistwalker seems to thank so to :D

Yea trap triggers pics would be great to see:eek: I posted some with the Recon but not with the Combat Recon.

mistwalker I just love the pics you posted of this knife to.

Another Great review MistWalker, Yep Bryan the Combat Recon Is a fantastic Knife, I cant wait to get out of the whole, And get one Ordered, Hey the Chopper Cop's up there looking for the Bad Guy's, Your Lucky you live In the Country and It might happen once In a Blue Moon, We get that Every Night In North Omaha !
 
Dr.Snake LOL Yea you are right when I lived in Omaha I remeber them choppers where up every night it seemed. Yea this is the first time it has been down here just south of Diller that I can ever recall.

He just hasn't got it up on the website yet. They are already being sold...both versions, with smaller and larger ones planned. I should have a smaller one to demo soon.
