Great knives and quite functional but they just are too light and woody. I prefer a little more heft in the hands.

I have a Carbon steel Opi no. 8 in the drop point configuration. In my opinion... the best one out there. I have looked to get another one or five of the same, but cannot seem to find that combo anywhere.

I always have a couple of Opinels around, they are like you said folding kitchen knives. Perfect for camp chores.
...but I usually prefer my western little fin
