the only real problaem i ran into is i broke a drill bit and it caused the next bit to wander making the pin come out uneven on the other side. cheap bits that why im going to go get a better set tommorrrow i have some real good titanium ones but only larger sizes ill post a pic here tommorrow after i oil both knives

I love the cobalt bits for drilling. but most of the time i just use the mill and use a end mill to drill my holes as the hole it makes is just so very nice.

i hand polished to 600 grit on the blade and same on the handle then buffed on the oil after soaking in tung oil 20 min then give it a second coat. now is there more i should do let me know. ide like to get a high gloss but i dont think tung oil will shine alot if so i need help .kellyw

Spar varnish is about as glossy as it gets but I don't think you can put it over oil. Be sure to use a tack cloth to remove dust before applying.

Looks good. The only thing I can point out is there isn't really a ricasso. Basically the small area between the guard and where the plunge cuts should be.
