Just recieved this one in the mail today. Got it in a trade. What a cool blade. Haven't had a chance to carry it or use it yet, but it feels great in the hand. It is blade heavy and the balance point is past the first ring, but I like that. It has a thick convex edge that is extremely sharp. I believe this one is made from O1 with cocobolo wood scales. Dan, if you have any further info on this blade, it would be appreciated, like how many were made in this configuration, etc. This will make a perfect companion blade for my new K4 Karda. Now I just have to rig up a piggyback setup! Here are some pics!:thumbup:

Great pics!

Yes, the second hole is for gripping while using it as a drawknife, or as an Ulu.

The steel is 5160.

Yours is the only one I've taken to completion...I have a few more blades kickin around. Hmm....maybe I'll dig one up tomorrow. :D :p

Cool, thanks for the info. For some reason, I was informed that this one was O1 steel. I love 5160. Can't wait to use this bad boy. So this is really the only one like this? Very cool!:thumbup:
