Fellow Hogs,

Sharing is caring -- therefore it gives me great pleasure to give you a pre beat quick peek at my Shadow ASH-1. Now from what I understand, this is one of 5 Cerakote finished ASH-1's. This baby is definitely going to be a user. After seeing Al's SharkZilla take a beating and then somehow look better -- I can't wait to see what happens with mine. The ergos with machined canvas micarta feel amazing. I'm going to give this beauty a wicked sharp mirrored edge and then an oil bath to see how good it looks with a little shine. Check it out while it's still pretty. . .

The Black, Gray and White Cerakote is definitely one of my favorites. Great lookin' ASH-1 you have there. Congrats on your score

That knife is the best, fit, finish, perfectly worn appearance. Like you said it only gets better after a beating

Looks great Rob  I can't wait to see how it looks after getting some use.

Those cerakote rough finish knives look awesome!! You can have a sexy user without it being a user.

Very nice! Congrats!

That is a beauty! Cannot wait for the ASH CG to come out.

I do like that coating, very nice indeed,,,

Yah baby that's sweet

That is a sexy beast of an ASH!!

Congrats Rob!!!!!!!

Thanks guys!! Yes it does already look like a User -- but judging from Al's pics -- once they're used -- it somehow looks better. I may have to beat on this today at some point :)

Al who?

I am pretty sure you will be very happy with it if you do beat on it. I would suggest taking the bark off (if there is any) of whatever you plan to chop as that is what really chewed up the coating fast. It doesn't seem to be wearing too much more with chopping just wood and I am very happy with the overall look on Sharkzilla now.

:) That was AZTimT's Sharkzilla...maybe the AZ thing ;)

How Fat is that ASH1? I Love it!!

I think you're right.
That ASH1 looks about .34 and ought to chop well for a stubby. :)

Sorry Gents!

It would appear I've mixed you two up haha myyyyy bad. This ASH-1 is really a looker and by my measurements comes in at around .33. The handle color configuration is stunning. Unlike my Custom Shop ASH-1, which feels like a Rolls Royce, this one feels like a dirty Hummer ---- I'm definitely not complaining. That SharkZilla btw is amazing. Cheers to new scores!

So I decided it was only fitting to give this gorgeous piece of INFI a super refined mirror polished edge . . .

I have GOT to get me a CG ASH-1 in .33" thickness. That is FOR SURE!!! I would even prefer a full .50" thick CG ASH-1 if Jerry would approve:D Hopefully the SR-101 ASH-1's will be available in a full .33" thickness.
