Well its been a couple of hours and so far so good. No more bloody stool to contend with and she has quit panting. My wife made a nest for her on our kitchen floor and she has been laying there seemingly alright. So fingers crossed. Thanks for all your kind thoughts and prayers. stay safe
 
Hope she feels better !!! Just FYI - rice water will stop any diarrhea if she has loose stool with blood.
 
I guess I spoke to soon! Holy crap is all I can say. So far we've only had to throw out throw rugs now and her dog bed we might have to replace the family room rug now. Calling the vet at 0800. I think it might be the denta sticks we started giving her. Or some of the canned food we mix with her dry dog food. Hopefully the vet will have a better handle on it. Hope doggy is ok. Having a sick companion when no vets open is very upsetting. Been there,done that. Not fun.

If the blood is red, not black, it’s likely some obstruction in the colon, which should pass, hopefully.

We had that a month ago with our Rottie, turned out to be a piece of wood.
 
If it's any consolation, my pooch has had bloody stools several times. Each time the vet said it wasn't serious, just a stomach bug or that he got into something he shouldn't. A few days of canned pumpkin and rice/broth cleared him up each time.

I really hope your experience is the same and that everything will be alright.
 
Well my dog is home. She has/had a type of dog virus that made her have diareaha. She was given IV fluids and a has a fluid pack under skin that will slowly release so we have to watch her cause she'll need to go out more often to piss. Had a elevated temp, and she has anti diarhreal meds. Anyways I absolutely appreciate your thoughts and concerns and so does the pooper! thanks and stay safe
