Glad to hear this has worked out! Surprised to hear Rochester lacks 24/7 emergency vet care. It's actually my home town (but moved away 20 years ago). I'm pretty certain Ithaca's got some 24/7 options with the big vet school down there, just a thought if there are future issues and you don't mind a bit of a drive. Best of health to the pup!

I'm so glad to hear she's better. I have an eleven year old pit and she's been a blessing.

I have to say they are just a wonderful dog. I've had 3 that I've cared for over the yrs since 81 and all 3 have been absolutely great doggo's. It's the dog of velvet and steel. My son has 2 now. Maurice and Ella. Both are mixes as are most pitty's but Maurice is a character plain and simple. He is a cross between an American Bulldog and French mastiff and a gooner to be sure. Anyways as I said thanks for the kind words and they are truly wonderful animals. stay safe
