Yup,some scumbag broke the two drivers side windows on my truck last night(crewcab Colorado) just so they could take my prescription sunglasses in a cheap aluminum case,my sleeping bag,my nice warm camp coat,a flip top ashtray that fits in a cup holder,bic lighter & the pocket organizer hanging over the drivers seat that my slingshot was in.
What the hell,the ashtray & lighter?Makes no sense.

Damn lowlife SOBs!Glass all over the place & a bent window frame.
They also broke the lock on my canopy,but didn't take anything out of the back.I keep my tent,chairs,tarps & stove in the back.
I guess they were happy with the ashtray.:rolleyes:

OK rant over,I hope everyone is having a good time at the gathering & congrats to Todd & Sitflyer.
Someone drink a beer for me,I don't drink,but sure could use a cold one right now.
 
Sorry to hear that. Some folks will take anything as long as they don't have to work for it.
 
Sounds like macgyver is on the loose again! Sorry for your loss.. I hate people that steal from people. It's another thing if its corporate espionage
 
that sucks -- what size coat do you wear -- I may have a spare. :)
 
Sorry to hear that Mykel, I have had my vehicle broken into twice and senseless things stolen, along with some necessities that I had in there. I know how it feels and yes, it sucks. But at least the last time they were caught and prosecuted. Hope you are able to get your car fixed soon...

I had my last truck broken into a few years ago & they took one of my Kel-Tek P32s.I still sweat someone getting shot by my gun that some scumbag stole,but at least I learned not to keep anything too valuable in my truck.
I'll be talking to the adjuster monday & hopefully get it in the shop tuesday.(It's supposed to start raining tuesday.)
 
Whereabouts in WA? I know some peeps that could get you replacements if necessary.
 
Man I hate hearing this. I absolutely hate thieves and have had my truck broken into a time or two. I have often had dreams of catching the bastids and scalping them.:mad:
 
No problems I used to live in sequim, boy do I miss it.. But hey, at least the tweakers here don't mess with people.. Unless your house or vehicle is unlocked on the side of the road. Too many armed citizens

An idiot broke into my 69 Volkswagen (many years ago) to steal my stereo. He broke out the vent window to open the unlocked door. :facepalm

Hang in there - I hope someday we can do a gathering you can make it to.
