Hey guys,

This is my knife collection. It's pretty small and not as expensive as most knife nuts' collections but I think its alright :) I also use all my knives regularly and have had a lot of them for a long time, so excuse the wear.

Great user collection. The dark red utility knife if not Victorinox, it is a Chinese clone (you can tell by the scissors).

I have no clue... lol. It seems to be but I didnt buy it so I'm not sure.
Does it have the Victorinox shield on the handle and say Victorinox on the blade ? Because it looks to me like a dollar store copy that should never be confused with a genuine Victorinox Swiss army knife.
After all Victorinox is a brand and not a type of knife.

I probably shouldn't care, but I've had enough of them to know what a piece of crap they are and how insulting it is to call it a Victorinox.
You really can't be a true knife enthusiast if you don't know that your dollar store imitator isn't a Victorinox.

Don't be ashamed of that group. It's much nicer than where I started. Before I joined here I had a similar Chinese SAK clone, a S&W Cutting Horse, a Schrade X-Timer, a Victorinox Gardener, a Mini-Buck 425, and a Kabar similar to the Buck 110. Those last 2 we're the closest thing to quality before I made the mistake of looking for "just 1 new knife for around $20". Lol what a rabbit hole this was. With sound advice and friendships I found here, I probably got 40 in the last year! Never thought I'd go for Spyderco but now I got 6!

Definitely not the worst little collection ever.
When I first joined I only had about 7 decent knives.
BTW you don't consider the Victorinox Gardner a quality knife ?

Hickory n steel Hickory n steel yes it technically is a good quality blade. Mine I got as a kid in less than stellar shape
My dad sharpened a nasty recurve into it, broke the top, and scuffed it all up before I got it, so it's in that Very Used condition. Considering that, I reprofiled the edge and still use it pretty often in woodworking. If I catch them at the right price I'll get a new one or 3 ;)

It's a nice collection with a good variety of different types.

What don't you like about the Leek?

Mine's all jacked up too.

Nothing wrong with that collection Snoow. Give the Ontario Rat 1 or 2 folder a look. The Utilitac 2 also. Excellent blades for the money.

Nothing wrong with your knife accumulation. If you stick around here, you'll gradually be upping the price tag (as you can afford it of course). That's the way it went for me, and then I started backing off on the $/knife. However, I did buy a TA Davison slippie this year and its' my most expensive knife in terms of what I paid for it. Probably have a few that are technically more valuable.

It looks like it had a shield at some time... Really beat up. But it doesnt has Victorinox on the blade. Guess your right, just some dollar store knife.
