FHaving only been enjoying the Sebenza for a couple years now, can I ask a dumb question? What does the "p" indicate?
Only thing I could come up with is "pocket" as it isn't equipped with a pocket clip. But that just doesn't seem to be correct.
And there seem to be both small and large p's.
Age doesn't seem to factor as I was looking on the bay and seen a large P listing with a 2014 birthday.
Thought it was kinda expensive though. But then again I dunno what the deal is.
Thanks!
Hey Joe... Here is a link to a fantastic thread that reviews the CRK history very well: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ory-Timeline-To-Date-amp-Blade-Steel-Timeline
The P series is a very early Sebenza with the P standing for "production." They are a rare breed and are admired for their rarity and simplistic beauty.
The P you saw on the auction was a large P from the early days, but it was sent in to CRk and received a re-issued birth card with a current date; however, it was manufactured in the early 90's.
I am glad you stopped by the thread my friend.
