My SMF, Lots of pics

How convenient. If the place they're currently using, the place Bos founded, is just as good (using Bos' specs), why bother sending SOME knives to Bos (and not marking them accordingly)?

I wouls think that maybe their customs still get the BOS heat treated blades.

Yet the Op posted a pic of the blade showing an S30V U.S.A. stamping, yet its no BOS flame symbol, so its not a BOS blade; and I've got one here that hs no marking whatsoever about the blade steel only Strider on one side and the strider logo on the other.

I've got one here that is less than 1month old and it doesn't have the S30V marking, makes me wonder!

i have an sng cc and a double gg smf, and neither has the s30v marking.

the sng is about a year old i think.

bought the smf here, so don't have any idea of production date.

Congratulations on the SMF. I like the work you've done. I bet you'll love using that knife!:D

Very sweet blades,My SMF is my edc, enjoy that SMF. If you dont mind me asking, what dot did you use on the edge pro to reprofile the edge?

Thank you for all the kind words. I do enjoy using it. Today I cut some oranges with it from the tree near the house I was working. Of course with the owner's permission :)

I used a green mark on the edge pro, and put a secondary micro edge at 40-degree, using spyderco sharp maker. It's very sharp, yet strong, and can be easily maintained.

Very nice, my first Strider showed up today, and it was a SMF as well. Mine is not marked S30V either, I was curious about this myself. The action is pretty stiff as well, I sent an email and josh just said to use some oil. I will be trying that and see what happens.
