My Soldier Son is coming home for Christmas

Smart kid! I thought we did some checkering on your Micro, you got two or is that before pics?

We gotta get you another one now. Can't be without a micro.

I just bet mom was a mess, but a happy mess, I can almost visualize it.

Great setup there, done proper, he has a good "eye", son like father.

Thanks fellas and he has great taste for sure, and Bawanna you did do a checkering job on my micro with horn but this bad boy is a tad larger,

It does look small on the photo but here it is next to my larger one, and OK ya got me I actually have 4 not 3.

Ok, so that's like a 10 incher or a Bookie as we call it in the business.

I have a 10 too and it's actually quite manageable. I wore it on me belt until the micro's came out.

A real knife to be sure.

Congrats on your son Merry Christmas to you and hours and thank your son for his service, great blades as well.

Pugs your blades always look like liquid metal:thumbup: Thats some pretty steel right there!

Yep, Pugs put a serious polish on my IBBB while he was making the sheath for it. he sure does know how to polish them up purty. Wow, A 10" HI Bowie, that is going to serve him well, but he is going to have an awesome pair when he gets the Becker 7 too. Might make it hard for him to decide which to wear :D

Thanks man, I use some good polish Simichrome and finish off with Renaissance wax and some elbow grease. I cant wait till the am when he opens the other blade.

If he's in Hawaii, don't wait for him to visit; get over there yourself. He can put you up in a dozen places around the various islands and take a vacation right there with you. He can use Army, Navy, and Air Force facilities. Here's a link to the Army MWR lodging http://www.himwr.com/recreation-and-leisure/lodging/lodging-welcome-page

I've used all of these and the Navy cabins at Pearl and Pacific Missile Range (Kalua), and the USAF (Bellows). They're great! and I've never seen them crowded.

Merry Christmas!

No better present than a knife! Merry Christmas to you and your family! and the rest of blade forums!

It's widely known far and wide my personal issues with patience but I felt compelled to remind the op that we're still kind of on pins and needles, ok sirupati's and Bonecutters anxiously awaiting some soldier knife pictures.

How long does he get to stay before heading out again?

Sorry man been busy, He was blown away with the knife almost had a tear in his eye for sure. I will take some photos with him and post em. He is catching up with some friends and my mom and sister with her family are here as well to see him. He is here till the 3rd then heads back.

Great to hear you guys are all together for the holidays. Thanks for sharing. Nice pic of knives, they will serve him well. My little buddy got to visit home from his field arty unit and we do love our howitzers!
