Mike and I have been working on this model for awhile. here is the first one. He named it "SWAT Compact" as it is much smaller than the full size SWAT knife.

S30V, Great Lakes jet cut, Paul Bos HT, Skeletonized full tang, removable scales and secure .095" kydex sheath.

I predict more cops at your door. In your case that would be a good thing. Nice job. Again Jim

Bruce, At times I wish my son had an interest in knives but there's enough poor Richard's in the family as it is. For some reason tacks are the hot item. I may reinvent myself. I got the power! Good looking knife......

cool knife....bruce, does your son make knives too....or did he design the knife?....ryan

im kinda the oposite as raymond richard, i wish my dad was into knives, it could be a great bonding experience, something to rebuild a relationship
in case i forgot to mention, amazing knife! :D

We put both our heads together on this one. He has been coming here as a part time job and is more into the tactical scene than I because he is in law enforcement. He does much of the work on these and will eventually do it all. Him and Kristi (wifie) are saving for an overseas adoption so he treats this as an second job that funnels into savings until then. I think he will get his own well deserved logo soon.
I wish my dad was alive to help us out. He'd make a good supervisor.

Here is the cad drawing of it. (Shameless plug for David at Great Lakes Waterjet)

pretty cool, Bruce.

Glad to see you on the dark side (stainless, micarta, kydex)...

One suggestion - have David radius the "inside cut" near the first pin....the little "points" can turn into stress risers...don't ask how I know. :foot:
