My sons first wild edible

Did a little foraging today for shrooms, and my 5 year old found his first. He was so proud. It was a fun day, heres some pics!

Children are good at finding mushrooms. Better eyes and closer to the ground.

Yeah, he was pretty exited, and I am for him.... Found a total of 25 today... No big yellow suckers though.

As a kid my parents took me mashroom hunting... It was so much fun i still remember it... J Williams your son would remember those days as well.... How do you prepare them??

Just make sure your kid doesn't pick any false Morels if he's out without you, such as Ptychoverpa bohemica or Gyromitra esculenta !
