Sparkly, a customized knife isn't the same as a custom knife. Take a look at the other threads in this subforum and you'll see what I am talking about. Glad you like the buck.

Love it! While not "custom" in the sense of made just for you from scratch, it's definitely YOUR knife and a great one at that. I'd love to see more pictures of those scales as I am sure the light really plays on them nicely. Great brightness on the bolsters, too.

The mods might move this over to the Buck Knives subforum.

Who made the knife for you?? It's purdy nice!!
 
Sparklygalaxy the 112 tiguy7 has is one of only 100 or so blades in BG42 Buck made back around 2003. Forum folks asked Buck for them and Joe Houser pushed it thru for us. You sent Buck ANY 112 and $35.00 Buck would install the BG42 blade (keeping the old one) and send it back to you. Only advertised thru the forum the 'upgrade' program was over in less than 3 months when the supply of blades run out. Very, very rare to see one ! I missed a 422 reblade a few months back...
 
Very nice customization to your 112! Are the scales stock, or were they replaced? They look almost black in the photos....

That is a really pretty knife! Where did you buy it, who engraved it, and who made the sheath?
 
Looks great. Personalized and customized for Sparkly Galaxy. A one of one limited run just for you. I like the blue, it came out really dark. Love the nickel bolsters and polished blade too. I hope you enjoy it for a long time. :thumbsup:
