Since my Wife and most of the people in my life and those that I associate with don't appreciate a good knife nor do they understand the reasoning for my collecting, I would like to share some pics of my knives with those that do.

This first shot didn't turn out that well, I have to invest in some fill lights and reflectors. My Native collection as of today.

My EDC Native III. This is actually the first Spyderco I purchased a little over two years ago. This is the one that got me hooked and I still carry and use it.

Delica with custom handle by Santa Fe Stoneworks. Black Jet with Paua Shell Inlays and silver Spyderbug. A really nice one.

My Dragonfly. Surprisingly useful knife considering it's small size. Gift from my daughter so I will not be parting with this one.

Polliwog. This has seen quite a bit of pocket time hence the scratches.

My latest acquisition the Carbon Fiber handled Sage. I was curious to see the what the quality of this knife would be since it was made in Taiwan. No worries as it is an awesome built knife with quality materials. Up to par with any of my other Spydercos.

I put this pic in to show the slight differences in the blade swedges on the different Native variations. Subtle but different. Also for anyone who has questioned the different blade styles, the top knife is the Plain Edge (PE) blade, the second knife down is the Serrated Edge (SE) and the 4th knife down is the Combination/Combo edge (CE). Also note the difference in the serrations between the SE & CE.

Last pic is the homemade light/photo studio I am currently using.

Very impressive collection. Knives and photography go together well it seems.
Great shooting. Thanks.

how old is the serrated 440V native? I can't remember when I got mine but I do remember all the things that knife has cut.:D

PKD---You HOG! Go over to the Busse Hog forum!! Outstanding collection!! Thanks for all the pix! Amazing!!

Great collection of Natives. Thank you for sharing the pic's. It's hard to get quality images of knives, and you did a fantastic job.

Since my Wife and most of the people in my life and those that I associate with don't appreciate a good knife nor do they understand the reasoning for my collecting

I feel exactly the same. In fact, I received a new Surge yesterday.. and have felt compelled a couple of times today, to give a call to a local knife knut @ my work, to come over and check it out.

I know what it's like to be the only one out of everybody you know to appreciate quality cutlery.I myself is in that same boat.I have freinds that act
like they like knives when I show them mine, but I know deep down they are'nt that into it because they have never bought one for themselves.:o.My wife also doesn't understand why I collect and it's hard to explain why I need more then just 1.I've never recieved one as a gift and probibly never will because to the people I know A knife is a knife.

nice collection:thumbup:

I know what your saying, whenever I get something new I generally have only one person I can show it to that has any idea how nice it actually is.

Anyways, very nice collection sir. And nice light setup and pictures as well.

WOW! I always considered accumulating a Native set, but got disheartened after missing out on the G10 models. It's nice to see the whole extended family together.

I have a question,Was a black coated SE native made without the bug?
