Hello all,

Just wanted to share my "just finished" pimped Spyderco M4 Mule with you, fellow outdoor enthusiasts.

The handles are smooth black G10, stainless tubes. Hardness tested at 62.3 HRC. The blade as been slightly modified: smoother thumb ramp, smaller guard.

The mods, handle, and sheath were all made by me. It should make a nice woods knife!

I'm interested to know what you think, as I have a second blade and looking for ideas...

That sure looks great to me! Let us know how it performs for you.

Very nice, I like the sheath work! I've been looking for one of those in M4, just missed one on the exchange the other day.

That's a super looking field blade man, good job on the mods. That's the most appealing spydero I've seen. Do let us know (preferably with pics :D ) how it functions for you. Reminds me a little of that Ritter fixed blade.

Thanks guys; I'm not sure this one will be a user, though...
Not totally sure I want to sell it either  Oh dilemma... :)

Anything you guys would've done differently? How should I finish my second Mule? I have wood (Ironwood, Maple, Cocobolo), Micarta, and still some G10...

Really great work, looks fantastic

While I like the thumbramp as is I can totally understand knocking back the guard like you did.

The mules make great slicers given their thickness. I've taken mine out to the woods on several occasions but I worry a little about the tip, it seems like it could be easily broken.

Here's a pic of the 52100 Mule, scales were done by Lone Rider Custom grips.

Awesome man! I really like the G10 on that, very stylish. Whats the Thickness anyways?
