• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Obviously anyone who hasn't heard of the spyderco sharp maker deserves a ceramic slap in their wet... Stones. However amongst many knifey treasures I have found in my grandfathers stuff, I found a fantastic ceramic sharpener from spyderco! I joyfully used it for days without questioning it's sharpmakerism but on further inspection discovered that it is in fact a spyderco "tri-angle". I checked blade forums but haven't found a thing about it, is this because it's so old? (The instruction literature was yellow and crumbly) or is it just a crap model that no one likes? Why is there nothing about it anywhere?
If Any wise knife owls out there know of the tri-angle I would be very interested to know.
Thanks :)

I dunno. I've often heard it referred to as a "Tri-angle Sharpmaker" though.

If you have a photo it might be a big help. I know there has been at least one model prior to the one that's out now, it did not have the fully-enclosed case, and only had one sharpening angle as I recall.

That does sound like its on the right track, I don't think the tri-angle has more than one angle (In spite of the name :P)

Il get a picture when I get home. I'm in history class right now °-°

Did a bit of quick looking, and found a couple pictures on the Spyderco forum.

This is the one I was thinking of:
