If i had a child that beautiful i would be putty in her hands....you have every RIGHT to be proud...
 
Oh yes, she's got us all under her thrall. Which is fine for now but it'll be difficult once she's old enough to get in trouble
 
If you keep in mind what is best for her spiritual formation, you will have done everything a father can do....
 
I don't have a lot of endearing qualities but I'm considered by many to be the ultimate boy scarer offer.
I run off a whole bunch courtin my daughter, 2 or 3 friends had me run off boys a courtin their daughters.
Just like my father in law a runnin me off, the ones that stay as I did are good to go. Those that run, keep on running.

My son in law still walks softly around me and I like him. Good guy but as I've told him about 3,971 times so far, that could change at any moment if he crosses any lines with my daughter and now my grand daughter.

Daughters last boyfriend before her husband actually had the gall to ask me how come whenever he come over I was either cleaning my guns or sharpening my knives. Told him simple maintenance and upkeep. Too many years in the boy scouts, need to be prepared.

He was gone shortly after that manly conversation.

I was the same with my little sister. Simply told any boyfriends that if they hurt her i would kill them....it seemed to work.

Boys today are generally scared of guns and knives unless (in this area anyhow) weirdo death freaks or rednecks.....the rest are pretty much indoors and live on computers and now phones as bad as we formerly joked of girls living one phones....they seem to be growing ever softer in an effete way rather than a gentle manly way.....and i feel sorry for girls who will never know an actual man to love....

As a kid growing up and roaming with a good oaken stick and kabar on hip and later a bb gun and then .22, boys today uneasy around knives and guns show we are showing a hive mentality....and a dangerously bored hive mentality....and i do not understand them and hardly want to.

I hope for this beautiful child of this man, there will be a truly good man left for her when she comes of age....

May my TTC do as well for sister's 18 yr old daughter....and may my sister also show off the KLVUK when a boy comes sniffing around....

As for "churchin' ", the most important church they will ever attend is the domestic church at home where a faith, any faith, is practiced openly, regularly, with life centered around it, and love and all the other virtues are put into action....otherwise they will walk away when they see the phonyness....and very hard to get through to them to come back into family or a larger group of believers...
