My Strider experience and new SNG CC

Great looking SnG's combat medic2.

A lot of times when the Strider spa is slower than normal it's due to the fact that they only make certain models at a time and probably don't have the blades/parts available for extended periods. They are a very small outfit. A few people do a lot of production.

Yeah they make knives in batches so they might not have spare blades and other major parts just sitting around.

Replacing a blade will usually take time.

Thanks for the input; when it came to the swapping in a new blade it would be going from the tiger stripe to the satin (sick of rambo comments at work) but i quess merry Christmas to me; i will just buy another Strider:)

Yep, that would definitely explain why you weren't able to find anything similar. :) The name "orange peel" actually refers to the finish's texture rather than its color: the very subtle texture in the finish is supposed to be reminiscent of the texture of an orange peel. The color, as you said, is gold/tan/bronze rather than orange.

Ahhhh ....yeah I see that now ...
Thank you again !:)

Hey combatmedic welcome to the forum :) spending time here is definatley going to make your knife collection grow tho.

your collection may be small but everything in it is the bees knees.

and ignore the naysayers strider makes some awesome knives. Every once in awhile someone comes on the forums and starts a firestorm over strider knives or cold steel or some other big knife brand....happens about once every month...

im a vet and i know plenty of other vets who carried striders so who cares what anyone else says. use what works for you.
