MY Strider SnG in Coyote Tan and PD#1

Very nice! It's been mentioned a hundred times, but Striders seem to become no less attractive as they gather "character". It's one of the only knives I don't mind rolling over on when working under a car etc..

I rarely need a hard use folder for my cutting tasks, I own 10 of them and have 5 more on oder. My Sng was very sticky and didn't loosen up after opening it a few hundred times. I took the knife apart, put it back together again and now its opens perfactly, I don't know how that helped but it did.

Both my Striders had sharp edges on the G10. I softened the edges over with a small flat file and some 400 grid sand paper.

Not a bad idea to soften up the G10 a little--it is quite rough!

I LOVE the character my CRK's develop over time. I am sure I will enjoy the character marks this one picks up!

I really want to get my first Strider. Very handsome knife.

Pull the trigger and order one. Seriously.

Well folks. . . I gave the Strider a shot. Great knife. Awesome steel. Just not for me. My affinity for CRK products has outweighed my love for my SnG. On the trading block she goes to hunt for another CRK.

Striders with very tough and wear resistant steels. It seems right! The only way to go in a hard use knife IMO.

I like SnGs, and soon I'll buy a SmF CC, just looking for the right steel. I sold off all but 1 CRK, very nice knife, but to me its more a simple work of art I don't want to scratch, Striders, I use them, lol.
