My Stripped NMFBM

Your work amazes me Ban. The cutting edge literally looks like it is in a liquid state. (Terminator) Like a blob of mercury yet solid!
That NMFBM CG is a work of art with looks that kill! :thumbup:

All I chopped down was air before I touched it to the grinder. All of my users have their coating violated asap! :D
 
:eek: So when do we put it to the test? Awesome job like usual Ban, I can't wait to see that in person! I told Nate I can't make it if we meet up this weekend because of midterms next week, but maybe I can squeeze in a little time. :cool:
 
Your Stripped NMFBM looks better than the LE's by far. I have tan Mags on mine and when I mess up the coat may try to get it off but that will be years down the line for me.

Hey, no problem. Was just curious. Did you mic it after the strip job? :D Would like to know how thin those beasts get when you take off the coating.

It mics out at .237.
 
Still plenty thick enough :thumbup: So now you've pretty much got a beautiful thinner version of the LE NMFBM there.

Took me a while to find the tutorial... I kept searching only the Busse forums, and there were several names listed as the source of the tutorials varying from randucci, wicked, and finally the person whom I found it under - flatgrinder. It was over in Shop Talk - Bladesmith Q and A:
