Not really. Just thought someone might like the picture. Are you planning on surviving then?
Not really.
Thank you so much for that insightful observationBit pointless having it then..........
Very pretty , but expensive and some reviews complain of slippery handle .Not really. Just thought someone might like the picture.
Nice wheel gun!
I believe it's 5160 tool steel.Nice wheel gun!
What steel is that Spydie made of?
Thanks. I imagine the fit and finish is quite good. Does it come with a bit sheath?I believe it's 5160 tool steel.
Sal sure knows how to put together an attractive package. It came in this sheath and the whole thing was in a nice zippered case.View attachment 1975410
For $300 , should come with a great handle , IMO !Unfortunately I have heard nothing but fairly poor things about the Spyderco tomahawk, which is a shame on a few fronts, most of them being complaints about the handle transmitting shock quite badly and having poor ergonomics for extended use. That being said, I have no firsthand experience with them. I do wonder if anyone has tried making a hickory handle for one instead, and if it alleviated things at all.
The only negative reviews I have seen are from two reviewers on UTube. Is there any other sources, preferably from a BF member?
Wow those are pretty scathing. A shame really, as it's an aesthetically pleasing piece.Amazon Customer

A huge waste of money,I'm embarrassed for U guys to carry such a inferior product. Spent too much time on axe,and zero time on handle. Small diameter, no grip, just a all around joke. I'm sure it's going too be a act of God to return. Extremely disappointing, for close to $200.00. Just stick to knives guys. Very frustrating, I was expecting so much more. Go to Home Depot an grab any carpenter hammer, and design handle off of that. I shouldn't have to redesign your axe. Just Sad!!

Head rocks...handle not thought out at all. It's painful and exhausting to use. The 1st reviews i read made this rock. Post purchase and practical implementation, i was quite disappointed and dug a lil deeper review wise. Found most folks agreed with my assessment. Unstable, difficult to manage, and extremely slippery. I wrapped the handle w paracord and the shock was still very uncomfortable and exhausting. Not a good throwing hatchet but may be good for self defense during the zombie apocalypses "if you can keep ahold of it "
