They're a dealer/manufacturer in China. Heard pretty good things about them back on Swordforum.

That's f***ing beautiful! I love the tsuba! For reference I heard it rumored that Huanuo used to make a select number of Cold Steel's (older) Chinese series. Not sure if it's true or not, but the old ones were a lot nicer than they are now.

This is supposed to be a big breakthrough for Huanuo to produce swords at this level with signicant price reduction.

You will need to be more explicit to be taken seriously.

It is hardly my place for moderators and administration here to do their own research of presentations from newly registered spam. Of one forum base specifically, this one has always wanted green to play. If you want a company to promote their goods for free, mebbe message them for their advertising needs. I do know (quite intimately) that the cartel has been booted from other venues.

Just some thoughts and hardly worth more that my two cents worth, or indeed my own time:)

Well, he doesn't give any pricing information nor a link to his site even though one is provided by his main detractor. As far as I see he is just showing us one of his swords and addressing its strengths and beauty.

Looks like an etched hamon rather than a natural one formed by application of clay and differential hardening in heat treat, however it could just be it is so uniform it looks artificial.

I'm told even traditional hamon can be considered "etched", as the differential hardness shows up as the steel reacts with the relatively mild acidity of water in waterstones. But using a stronger acid to bring it out more dramatically, or even fake a hamon where none truly exists, is also possible.

FWIW I have a Huano-made Dynasty Forge katana and a CS katana (both the "double-edge"/Kogarasu-Maru style blade). They are virtually identical.
