I just picked these up and I am very impressed with both. The fit and finish on the Tenacious is very nice and amazingly smooth opening action. The Catbyrd is almost as nice, but shows some milling marks on the tang edges of the blade. Both feel really solid. The Tenacious may well prove to be my favorite Spyderco to date. It feels sort of like a cross between a Mini Manix and a Caly Jr.. The Catbyrd feels a lot like my Stretch, but is smoother in and out of the pocket. Sorry that the scans aren't better, but these should give you a good size reference.

VERY minor complaints; both have very smooth buffed edges, and I personally prefer a little more tooth. They shave but they don't bite as aggressively I like. Also, it would be nice if the Catbyrd was drilled for tip down, and it has a few sharp spots on handle right around the lock. It's heavy enough that I would be inclined to carry it IWB instead of clipped to a pocket, and I prefer tip down knives when carrying this way. Like I said, very minor issues. Overall they are very nice indeed, and I am hard pressed to say which one I really like best, but I am really leaning towards the Tenacious.
