I finally succeed to borrow a digital camera ;-)

I have make this third knife on my 1x42 home made belt grinder and I have
make my first mosaic pins for him. I also make my first leather sheath (thanks
to the sheath making forum !) And thanks again all for your good help !

Very nice, sure wish my third, fourth or even tenth looked that good!

Great job on the sheath too.

Dadgum Alain, you must be makin knives in your sleep and hidin em someplace.
You are really making some fine looking knives and that sheath looks first class all the way!
Did you just figure this craft out on your own or did you visit another knife maker's shop or something?
Your work is just amazing!

Should be damn proud of that knife man, my third looked like a piece of crap. :p Good work.

Looks like a lot of pride, patience, and most of all, SKILL went into that 3rd (still can't belive it) knife. Gosh, if your 3rd knife looks that good, it's almost scary to think of what your 300th knife will look like. Great job, and do keep em coming!

I've got a pack of ten 1 X 42 120 grit Klingspor belts that were sent to me by mistake. I ordered and paid for 30 inch but got these instead. The vendor has been too good to me to ask if I could send them back. I'm going to 72 inch anyway.

Email to me your U.S. mail address; I'll send them to you.

Roger

That's a great knife for being your third. It took me many more than 3 to reach anything close to that quality. Real nice leather work also. Keep em coming.

Hi everybody !
I received some messages asking how I have make to put my name on my knife. I used the simplest method (and the less expensive) than I found; I bought 3 stamp, one for each letter (1à 2$ each) and punch them in the blade with a hamer... It work, but it is not the best. It is very hard to align each letter...

Now I think to build (or buy) a electro etching machine, that would be much better I think...
