My thoughts-Spyderco Delica 4 sabre grind

While the FFG is a better slicer, the saber cut certainly doesn't cut "poorly" -- it just doesn't slice as well.

But I don't care since I'm not using my pocket knives to slice tomatoes.

I do care that the saber Delica has other things going for it, notably strength.

review. Delica was my gateway drug to Spyderco. Still have that one along with a purple ffg and a saber ground ZDP. Perfect sized EDC knife for me though a Meerkat is my sheeple knife at work.

Same here.

As for the Delica, overall...
I've spent most of the last decade carrying and using customs, Sebenzas, couple of prototypes/mid-Techs, limited-run Benchmades, higher priced Spydercos, etc...haven't really looked at another locking folder since the day I bought a Delica4 on impulse, with the exception being my next one, a fully flat ground Delica4. Spyderco really nailed this one:thumbup:
I posted that in 2010, carry the same knife daily, and still haven't bothered to get the FFG version.
