We are getting some snow -supposed to be 18 inches When cleaned up I will get back out to take more pictures.
Pit you need to invite yourself up here one of these times and find out what goes on upcounrty
Aubrey I very much enjoyed your thread -the one you and your wife did on the truck excursion.
Usually wear traditional clothes wool and such in layers if Im snowshoeing. On the snowmachine when cold Ive a synthetic parka with a wool liner ,wear fleece or wool long johns and a synthetic bib snowpants.Always leather chopper mitts with home knit wool liners and topped with a fur hat. This one is beaver(one that I caught and tanned).Took apart the hat and added the fur

Oh...and nice knife! Who's the maker?

Awesome photos, spectacular scenery! Thanks for sharing and hope to see more. I miss my trapping days back in the 80s.

Great pictures, db. I'm really jealous. We have had almost no snow this year. I almost didn't recognize it in your pictures.

Dan'l, are you able to make a living off the trapping or is this a sideline/hobby? How did you get into trapping?

Those are some of the best scenery shots I've seen so far. Astounding doesn't even begin to describe that view. I'm full of envy right now:grumpy:;). I too would like to know if trapping is how you get by, or if its a hobby/side job? I can't believe the snow on that wood shed:eek: These days here in Wisconsin we're overwhelmed by a foot or so of snow and that's rare even. Four feet is just wild to think of. I wouldn't mind to see it though. Well thanks for sharing these amazing pics, really hope to see some the next time you head up there.
